Celebrating Ruby on her 40th birthday feels like honoring a force of nature—she’s the embodiment of positivity, creativity, and unparalleled energy. Ruby’s outgoing nature, combined with her infectious positive vibes, makes her the life of any gathering. Everyone cherishes Ruby’s presence; she’s the supportive friend, the reliable coworker, and the supermom who astounds with her selflessness and heart of gold. Her motivation and focused demeanor resonate, making her both a collaborative ally and someone who doesn’t hesitate to stand her ground. Above all, Ruby’s unwavering empathy and kindness remind us all why “everyone needs a Ruby.”
Let’s hear from some of her friends.
“Happy 40th birthday Ruby!
My partner-in-crime in all things diy/crafts/baking! No project is ever too crazy to explore, when our creative minds meet. (Whether we have the time to execute on them is a different story though!)
Thank you for always being there for me, whether it is to bounce ideas off of, random weekday lunch drop-ins that bring much needed joy into the monotonous workdays, or letting me hang off your arm in creepy escape rooms.
I’m looking forward to seeing what troubles we will get up to together in this 4th decade of our lives!”

How is Ruby so talented?
It really blows my mind
There’s nothing she can’t do
She’s truly one of a kind
I don’t have a nickname for her
But Superwoman would fit
She faces challenges head on
With determination and grit
On top of all these things
She’s got a heart of gold
Any love you show her
She returns a hundred fold
We bonded over escape rooms
We’ve baked together twice
We both love coffee and dessert
And I often ask her for advice
There’s no single favourite memory
I have of Ruby and me
Every minute spent with Ruby
Is ever so lovely
So let’s celebrate this day
And spoil this wonderful gal
Happy 40th birthday
To my super amazing pal
HAPPY 40TH BIRTHDAY, RUBY!!!
Love,
Andbuty
“I love the escape room Ruby: focused, motivated and doesn’t take crap from anyone. I remember us going to a pretty bad escape room in the basement (with broken glass in the sink) and when the owner was explaining the puzzles to us using a manual, her face was priceless. We miss you guys! Hope to see you next time we are in Toronto !”

Hi Ruby, I remember the time when you let Kooper sleep on you while Ken and I were trying to escape the Firefighter Mission from Escape from the 6!!! You were a trooper for not minding his drools and possibly of a diaper explosion!!! When I think of you, first things that come to my mind are escapes and good food!!!
Happiest birthday from your friends Ken and Ada!!!
“Hi Ruby!
Don’t have any nickname for you but I know I always say you’re a super mom! Still amazes me how you can handle two kids with so much calm! One of my favourite memories would be that one summer where we talked in the parking lot at VSM for a bit over an hour. To the point where the kids were walking out for recess and we hid behind our car so they don’t see us. (I think it sort of failed cause Gwen and Avery saw us!) But this is when our momship began! Love sharing our thoughts about raising kids and hearing about your crazy craft idea! and ofc hearing each other out about our random rants in life! Grateful that we crossed each other path and become friends. Wishing you the happiest 40th birthday! May this new decade bring you more happiness and adventure!”

“Hi Ruby,
We connected over coffee and have been feeding off on each other’s positive vibes since. Let’s continue on this flourishing road of friendship. Your forever mommy friend. “

Hey Ruby,
I remember the time when you told me you were a model. Look at the life journey you have been through since then. I believe you must be so busy with family and/or work stuffs but today is your birthday. Relax and treat yourself well for a moment. You deserve it, super woman!
Love

(Note: Oh well~ once a while, treat yourself well not just on your birthday)
“I met Ruby for the first time in dance class. I didn’t really know her well back then. But I do know she had such a great presence in the room and many idolized her as aspiring models.
Coincidentally I met her again when we worked on the same team in Scotiabank. We had a mutual friend and that bonded us, along with our love of Pokemon and food of course. She is always so positive and quite the social butterfly. We grew closer I think our best times together were spent having dim sum.
Although I haven’t seen her too often now that she’s moved into a new role and has children, I know she’s a friend that I can depend on when needed. She’s one of the most reliable and empathetic people I know and I know it would be so easy to pick up where we left off.
I hope you have a wonderful birthday (I already know Mike will spoil you) and I look forward to making plans to see you again soon!”

“Hey Lo Por, I remember the time when we would always go out to spin Pokestops and catch Pokemon during our breaks. Also the time we got lost on our way back from getting lunch just because we wanted to catch a Lapras!”
